Llama Walks on Dartmoor Devon

Dartmoor Llama walks offer a range of walks suitable for all abilities and varying in length. We are open all year round as long as the weather allows. We can tailor our walks to meet your requirements. All walks must be booked in advance.

Our Llama walks are priced for a llama between two people, we have found this works the best as llamas being llamas often decide for themselves which other llama they would like to walk with. Having one between you means you can walk together, take pictures, swap the llama between yourselves and really get to know them. It also means that we can keep our walks reasonably priced. We have prices for single people and children as well.

Everyone taking part in the walk will require a paid ticket.

Please remember, the weather on Dartmoor can be unpredictable. We will only walk if it is safe to do so, however, we will always try to offer an alternative activity in poor weather.

This Autumn, join us for…

Harvest Moon Walk

A unique opportunity to experience the rise of the Harvest Moon on Dartmoor with the Dartmoor Llamas.

The Harvest Moon is the nearest full moon to the autumn equinox. Traditionally, the light of the Harvest Moon enabled farmers to work late into the night, helping them to bring in crops from the fields.

Folklore says the Harvest moon signifies abundance, appreciation and gratitude – bringing good luck and fortune to those who embrace it.

So join the Dartmoor Llama Team for an evening walk across Dartmoor, to include an autumn vegetable soup and a roll.

Only £30 per person (based on two people per llama)

*Walks include uneven ground. If you have any concerns about the terrain or distance please contact us and we’ll be happy to arrange an accessible route for you.
